In this leadership role, the Senior Investment Director (equivalent to Managing Director) will be instrumental in executing AustralianSuper's Private Credit strategy in Europe, particularly focusing on Real Estate Debt. Responsibilities will include sourcing and evaluating new investment prospects, overseeing loan investments, and nurturing talent within the team.
- Sourcing and evaluating new private credit investment opportunities aligned with the strategy
- Overseeing asset management for portfolio loan investments
- Identifying and developing talent within the team
- Supporting the effective execution of the Private Credit strategy
The Private Credit portfolio, valued at approximately £3 billion, primarily consists of asset-backed loans across key regions.
The London and New York offices, currently home to 150 skilled professionals, are slated for significant expansion, presenting an opportunity for new team members to contribute to the organizational culture.
Requirements for this role include:
- Extensive experience in credit assessment within banking, finance, or credit funds
- Demonstrated capability in leading loan transactions and investments in the EMEA market
- Proven ability to identify critical investment issues and articulate them effectively
- Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong people management skills
