Whatyou'll do

In this key role,you’ll be managing the test governance as per the bank’s definedtesting processes and guidelines, whilst also contributing towardsimproving test governance and establish significant test governancechanges. We’ll also look to you to handle internal and externalaudits related to testing governance and test processes, contributetowards test processes improvement initiatives, and establishsignificant processchanges.

Additionally, you’llbe:

  • Takingaccountability for all aspects of governance quality across bothrun and change and business as usual activity within the assignedplatform or domain
  • Managing a test governanceteam spread across different geographicallocations
  • Taking on result orientedinitiatives, monitoring progress and reporting to the leadershipteam and other stakeholders on a regularbasis
  • Reviewing all key collateral, ensuring itis of sufficient quality with no gaps orduplication
  • Providing support across allbusiness areas with respect to addressing all customer testgovernance related queries andescalations

Theskills you'll need

We’relooking for someone with strong knowledge and understanding ofquality standards, quality best practices, and our risk andcontrols framework. You’ll also need high levels of knowledge anddemonstrable application of modern testing and quality practicesand techniques used with Agilemethodologies.

Additionally,we’ll be lookingfor:

  • Experience intest management, quality assurance, and test governanceroles
  • Experience in governance of all theQuality Assurance (QA) activities, test results, leaked defects,root cause analysis and identifying areas ofimprovement
  • A strategic thinker with a provenability to utilise existing test knowledge and experiences, alongwith the ability to produce practical solutions andalternatives to testing processes
  • Aself-starter and an excellent team player with a strong sense ofownership and commitment to quality
  • Strongcommunication skills to ensure that QA vision is understood andimplemented correctly with keystakeholders
