We're looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to join our team to deliver one of the biggest heritage projects the National Trust has ever tackled, and we’re bold and creative in our approach. 

 You’ll be part of a vibrant professional community across the National Trust who deliver millions of pounds worth of projects each year.

Contract: Fixed Term – 30 hours per week up to 1st May 2026

Interview Dates: Site visit Wednesday 21st August; Interview Thursday 29th August

Salary range: From £26,832 (pro-rata) depending on experience



What it's like to work here

Reporting to the project Delivery Director, you’ll welcome the chance to work with, and learn from, a passionate and collaborative project team. 

Our team comprises project managers, curators, community and volunteering specialists, an external design team and many technical specialists.

Your contractual location will be Polesden Lacey Hub and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview. Regular travel to Clandon will be required for site visits and meetings.



What you'll be doing

You’ll be providing support across the Clandon project, particularly the visitor experience and conservation framework workstreams, and playing a key role in ensuring activity is coordinated.

You’ll work closely with our construction manager to ensure that management and maintenance of the site is carried out effectively.

You’ll take responsibility for the delivery of the heritage skills and learning element of the project, liaising with external providers and partners to deliver training events as well as ensuring the activities are integrated with our wider participation plans for the project.

You’ll also take the lead in developing and managing the project archive, setting up appropriate systems and processes, to ensure that we can capture and share lessons learnt from the project, as well as making a significant contribution to the evaluation and benefits management of the project.

You'll communicate project work internally and externally, maintaining strong relationships with partners and colleagues.
