What to expect
You’ll need previous experience of leading a team in acustomer facing role. You’ll spend your time running shifts withour customers at the core, through coaching your team and creatinga positive learning environment to your partners on shift. You’llchampion our mission and values to create our Starbucks experiencefor our customers and partners.
The best partabout this role is that no two days are ever the same Working inone of our fast-paced stores, a typical day couldinclude:
- Work with your storemanager to know your market and the competition to identifyopportunities to drive store profitability and your businessforward
- Executing store operations duringscheduled shifts, including organising opening and closing duties,upholding operational policies and procedures, including those forcash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of allpartners during each shift
- Collaborating withthe store leadership team to guide great shifts, providing supportto partners, and inspiring the Starbucks Experience for bothpartners and customers. Inspiring and motivating the store team tocreate best moments for our partners and customers, includingpre-empting and adapting to any potential issues andaddressing/resolving any that arise to optimise the customerexperience
- Cascading and rolling out of newinitiatives to enable operational excellence and drive businessresults
- Supporting the growth of your partnersthrough performance and development, coaching, and developing yourteam and building positive relationships to understand partnerchallenges, needs and aspirations
- Settingchallenging and realistic goals to drive engagement and improvepartner performance
Given the nature of our stores,our working hours could include early mornings, evenings,weekends.
