AECOMs Sustainable Development Group is a leader in Decentralised Energy including District Heating District Cooling Renewables and energy storage. We specialise in district heating delivery and are looking to grow our team.

Currently we have a requirement for a Senior Engineer with a particular focus on technical leadership and delivery. We are looking for someone with an excellent grasp of the UK energy market how buildings estates towns and cities can be decarbonized and how a DH network can be designed and deployed at scale.

The role offers a great opportunity for career progression for a candidate who demonstrates passion technical ability and leadership skills.

The team specialises in lowcarbon sustainable energy network design from initial opportunity identification feasibility business case development and design to commercialization  procurement support construction support and post construction monitoring. We have many projects across UK&I and globally within the Middle East and Europe. We also heavily support UK government in delivering various schemes including being technical advisors on both the HNIP and GHNF grant schemes alongside heat network Zoning.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible 

Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering DH Design / Energy Option Studies / Energy Audits / Decarbonisation strategies
  • Track record of project delivery from concept stage through to operation ideal 
  • MEng / BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
  • CEng status would be beneficial
