The role:

The Interim Fleet/Transport Administrator will be supporting the business to manage MPD's fleet ensuring vehicles are efficiently purchased, maintained, and operated in compliance with relevant legal and statutory requirements.

  • Maintain an accurate and up to date database of vehicles, locations, and status.
  • Vetting of all branch vehicle expenditure.
  • Monitor vehicles are serviced/tyres replaced to specifications and presented professionally.
  • Manage vehicle tracking/system.
  • Fuel management driver usage vs. targets.
  • End to end accident management including progress tracking, follow up and reporting.
  • Fleet insurance including managing claims and reporting.
  • MOT and tax reminders management.
  • Ensure driver license checks are performed.
  • Support the process of optimal vehicle procurement and disposal.
  • First point of contact for internal and external fleet related information requests and enquiries.

Profile:

  • Experiance within a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Good proficiency in Excel

On offer:

Salary circa £14 to £16 per hour

Length- 5/6 months (potentially longer)
