The role:
The Interim Fleet/Transport Administrator will be supporting the business to manage MPD's fleet ensuring vehicles are efficiently purchased, maintained, and operated in compliance with relevant legal and statutory requirements.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date database of vehicles, locations, and status.
- Vetting of all branch vehicle expenditure.
- Monitor vehicles are serviced/tyres replaced to specifications and presented professionally.
- Manage vehicle tracking/system.
- Fuel management driver usage vs. targets.
- End to end accident management including progress tracking, follow up and reporting.
- Fleet insurance including managing claims and reporting.
- MOT and tax reminders management.
- Ensure driver license checks are performed.
- Support the process of optimal vehicle procurement and disposal.
- First point of contact for internal and external fleet related information requests and enquiries.
Profile:
- Experiance within a similar role
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive problem solving
- Good proficiency in Excel
On offer:
Salary circa £14 to £16 per hour
Length- 5/6 months (potentially longer)
