Excellent opportunity for a Director coming from the Onshore Wind sector to join an ambitious start up development company where you can play a key part in future and upcoming projects within the company.

This company is working in partnership with some of the leading companies in the wind development sector. They have several projects in the pipeline and they are looking to expand their team by bringing on a project director to oversee projects from the initial development stages through to completion.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the team which will see you being responsible for liaising with different stakeholders, identifying new opportunities in onshore wind, hydrogen, overseeing project budgets and programmes from initial development to completed project stage. You will also be reporting directly to the CEO on matters relating to performance, investment and similar.

The ideal candidate will be degree educated coming from the onshore wind sector where they have previously experienced working in a similar role involving project planning from initial stages through to completion.

This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate coming from the onshore wind sector where they are now looking for a new exciting challenge where they can leave their mark on the work they do and be a part of an exciting ambitious future focused company.

The role:

* Identifying and attracting different investment opportunities within the onshore wind and hydrogen sector.

* Overseeing project budgets from initial to completion stages ensuring they are completed within time and to budget.

* Liaising with the CEO and other team members to provide value and support on current/future projects.

* Maintaining relationships with landowners, asset owners and other stakeholders in the planning processes, regulators and grid companies.

The Person:

* Previous project/development experience within the onshore sector

* Degree educated in a relevant discipline such as Economic, Finance or Engineering

* Strong technical understanding of Grid and DNO application
