Student Support Advisor

In this crucial role within our Sixth Form Support team, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive and effective atmosphere for our students. Collaborating closely with the Sixth Form Administrator, Welfare Officer, KS5 Careers Advisor, and Assistant Principals, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive support to our UKAT students.
Your main responsibilities will include being the primary point of contact for parents, staff, and students regarding pastoral matters. You'll ensure timely and effective support to boost student progress and achievement. You will oversee and nurture a focused study environment, helping students develop strong study skills and encouraging independent learning.
Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, monitor attendance, address punctuality concerns, and offer pastoral guidance to our sixth form students. You'll also support the promotion of enrichment activities, higher education and further education opportunities and manage essential resources to support student success.
