About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team for a temporary position at a large commercial site in Cardiff. This role involves performing various maintenance tasks, light installations, and ensuring the smooth operation of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Painting & Decorating: Interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and general decorating tasks.
  • Basic Plumbing: Repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and other minor plumbing tasks.
  • Basic Electrical Work: Replacing light fixtures, outlets, and performing minor electrical repairs.
  • Basic Carpentry: Fixing doors, assembling furniture, and other minor carpentry tasks.
  • Groundswork: General maintenance of the outdoor areas, including landscaping and minor repairs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar handyman role.
  • Competence in painting, decorating, basic plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
  • Own tools and transport are preferred but not essential.
