We are looking for experienced and passionate BANK Mental Health Support Workers to join our inspiring team at Lincolnshire Crisis Accommodation & Helpline Service.

If you are looking to work more flexibly BANK work could be ideal for you - you may be retired, looking to do additional shifts around your current role or would like to work around your family commitments. 

Field View Crisis accommodation offers 4 Crisis beds for people experiencing mental health problems or mental illness. It provides support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The maximum stay for Crisis beds is 7 nights. Field view supports people from age 16 upwards and the service also includes a helpline called Lincsline.

How you will make a difference:

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.  

Essential experience, skills required for this role:

  • I have transferable life/work experience to apply to this role.
  • I am a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient and willing to learn
  • I can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
  • I may also have, experience of providing support to people with a mental illness; or experience of providing care and/or support services within another social care setting in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
