·        be an excellent practitioner who is dedicated to continuous improvement

·        be passionate about learning and able to inspire and motivate young people

·        have fantastic subject knowledge and be passionate about helping all children to achieve ambitious goals

·        be forward-thinking, adaptable, open and responsive to feedback and up to date with the latest thinking about learning and teaching

·        be calm and assertive in managing behaviour

·        have the highest expectations of themselves and the behaviour and achievement of students

In return we offer:

·        an idyllic rural setting, and a generous and well-maintained campus

·        outstanding professional development and expertise to enable staff to achieve excellence in their practice

·        first-rate career development to assist you in fulfilling your ambitions

·        excellent support for ECTs

·        a unique small and friendly community school environment

·        links with local secondary schools for sharing good practice and further professional development

If you wish to discuss this role further or want come and see our school in action please contact v.brockbank@clere.school in order to arrange a time with the headteacher.

Closing date: Noon, Thursday 19 September 2024. Applications will be considered as they are received with interviews taking place as soon as possible.  Application forms available on our website www.clere.school and should be returned electronically to recruitment@clere.school
