An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic company, seeking an ambitious individual with a passion for Human Resources. As an HR Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate employee records, track attendance, and manage pre-employment checks using online systems.
- Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
- Collaborate with Directors to manage the disciplinary process, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Provide regular updates to the Finance Director on salary variations.
- Monitor probation and induction timelines, working closely with department managers.
- Implement the Bradford factor policy to monitor staff sickness.
- Work closely with management to identify and plan staff deployment, ensuring strategic planning for future recruitment needs.
- Provide HR guidance and support to management, fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement team-building and staff engagement initiatives, working closely with Directors.
- Review and update pay structures, employee perks, and benefits to ensure a competitive offering.
- Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Offer confidential support and guidance to employees on HR-related matters, promoting an open-door policy.
- Line manage the HR & Health & Safety Coordinator, providing guidance and support.
- Implement a new HR software package, providing tools and frameworks to support employees and managers.
- Oversee all recruitment processes, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates, managing the employee lifecycle.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft and Excel skills.
- 3 years of HR experience.
- CIPD qualification desirable, with a comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Positive, empathetic, and approachable manner.
- Collaborative and pragmatic approach to work.
