You will be responsible for the inspection of both domestic and non-domestic properties within the Thames Valley area, inspecting plumbing systems both reactive and proactive for compliance of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
This is a customer facing role and will often require driving to various sites in the Thames Valley area. Your base location can be flexible depending on where you live, this will be discussed with the successful candidate. 

Working hours: 38  (Monday to Friday)

What you’ll be doing as a Water regulation inspector
  • Conduct inspections to meet our regulatory targets.
  • Audit approved plumbers, monitoring their competency and customer care.
  • Audit RPZ valve installations.
  • Direct involvement in high-risk/high-profile investigations, like water quality contamination cases.
  • Support notifications related to plumbing alterations under Regulation 5 of the Water Fittings Regulations.
What you should bring to the role
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Competent in using the appropriate company IT systems and office software.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and internal processes. (advantageous)
  • City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent on the enforcement of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999. (advantageous)
  • Relevant industry experience and understanding of the business will be beneficial.
