Job Description:

eCOM is the fastest growing channel for Mars Pet and we are looking for an experienced eCommerce Account Manager to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goal of providing a Digital-First experience for Pet Parents. Ocado & ODD (On Demand Delivery) serve as strategic partner customers and emerging must win growth platforms for the business. The Ocado & ODD eCDM will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth within eCOM customers, delivering a strong customer partnership, delivering category growth plans, digital activation and excellence in execution across our brands.

What are we looking for?  
  • Proven experience in Sales for Fast Moving Consumer Good Industries (including standalone management experience within Ecommerce space) 

  • Strong understanding of UK omni channel landscape 

  • Excellent customer management and communication skills 

  • Ability to manage ambiguity with a bias to action 

  • Curiosity about eCOM trends and technology  

  • Team player 

 What will be your key responsibilities? 

  • Effective eCOM business activation to achieve Mars business objectives and the service of customer’s needs.  
  • eCOM Excellence in Execution of CARS (Content, Availability, Ratings, Search) for Ocado and ODD.  

  • Ability to identify trends, to create opportunities, and diagnose areas for improvement. 

  • Development and implementation of strategies to increase sales and improve conversion rates 

  • Champion and pilot On Demand Delivery model to drive not only direct ODD accounts but accelerate growth of affiliated ODD platform growth, i.e. Deliveroo.  

  • Build effective business relationships with customer cross functions- buyers, category, retail marketing, supply and likewise with internal stakeholders at Mars to drive sustainable mutual growth with customers.  

  • Accountable for delivering profitable growth within designated ecommerce accounts including effective forecast delivery and management of customer joint KPIs. 

  • Lead meetings with cross functional team to support Customer eCOM Partnership. 

  • JBP creation and execution, regular business reviews, category review and promotional plan management for business growth  

  • Active team player of eCOM team in supporting eCOM capabilities development over organization.
