This role may also involve liaison with the on-campus security team, university accommodation providers, local hospitals, and the police.

Please note we’re looking for applications from people with a proven clinical background, such as mental health nursing, and experience in mental health/clinical practice, and/or supporting people in crisis or in challenging situations.

The post holder will work across all sites in the University.  As this role mainly supports students outside of core working hours it will include a range of shifts on a rotational basis.  An example of the shift pattern is below;

Our counselling and wellbeing team is made up of a passionate team of experts, where the student experience is at the heart of everything they do. They deliver a wide range of services to help support students and their individual challenges and journeys. They engage with our students in a creative customer led, flexible and innovative way, whilst anticipating and responding to the needs of our diverse community.
