We are pleased to be working with a busy organisation in Shrewsbury who offer specialist services throughout the county. They require an experienced Planned Maintenance Support Officer to join their friendly and helpful team, on a temporary and full-time basis, with the potential to go permanent.
Your new role
Your main responsibility will be to provide administrative and clerical support to officers within the Responsive Maintenance team as well as delivering other key administrative duties to the wider business. This will include handling inbound and outbound calls with customers, contractors and other relevant parties alongside inputting and maintaining data via a bespoke IT system.
Key duties involve:

  • Co-ordinating diaries/work schedules of operatives alongside making appointments and raising work tickets
  • Administration support to the maintenance team e.g. amending records, sending emails/letters, post opening, photocopying
  • Data entry of technical documents and orders
  • Maintenance of records
  • Inbound and outbound calls to a range of parties, delivering excellent customer service
  • Managing invoices from contractors/suppliers, verifying customer invoice details, resolving discrepancies, record keeping of payments received
  • Raising sundry debtor accounts and recharges for goods and services where required
  • Provide audio/copy typing, minute taking when required
  • Order PPE where required
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, working in the office for a 37-hour week.

  • Experience with planning and scheduling
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Confidence working with KPIs and targets
