Position: Machine Operator

Location: Rayleigh

Shifts: Mon Fri 06 00 / 14 00 rotating weekly

Pay: £11.44 ph

Type: Temp to perm for the right candidate after 12 weeks.

Duties:

  • Follow all documented Company Quality System/Standard Operating Procedures during tasks.
  • Safely set up, operate, and maintain assigned machinery.
  • Perform all operations with precision and in a timely manner.
  • Conduct maintenance checks and ensure machine efficiency aligns with planned workflow.
  • Strive to enhance product quality.
  • Always adhere to written and verbal working instructions.
  • Work efficiently, punctually, and professionally.
  • Assist other colleagues when needed.
  • Promptly notify supervisors of any issues or concerns.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment as per Company Health and Safety Policy.

Skills required:

  • Experience in machine operation or similar roles.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Motivated and proactive.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and finding solutions.
  • Fast learner with the ability to gain extensive knowledge of the industry, products, and operational processes.
  • Ensuring efficient production of goods and services at the required quality level.
  • Effectively communicate in English.
