CNC Setter/Operator (Milling) Job Description

Gap Personnel is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator (Milling) to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and setting up equipment and accessories accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality products
  • Interpret technical drawings and job specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories to meet technical and quality standards
  • Monitor workflows to meet technical and quality standards
  • Operate various industrial machinery, including hydraulic presses, guillotines, polishers, grinders, and borers
  • Prepare reports and provide updates as required
Requirements:
  • Ensure artwork and job instructions meet process requirements
  • Work to meet deadlines and customer targets
  • Maintain machinery and systems for optimal production
  • Produce high-quality products according to departmental specifications
  • Identify and report development opportunities
  • Analyse root causes and implement problem-solving initiatives
