About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator (Milling) to join our client's team in Rayleigh. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality products are produced according to departmental specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality products
  • Interpret technical drawings and job specifications to ensure accurate production
  • Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories accurately
  • Monitor workflows to meet technical and quality standards
  • Operate various industrial machinery, including hydraulic presses, guillotines, polishers, grinders, and borers
  • Prepare reports and provide updates as required
Requirements
  • Ensure artwork and job instructions meet process requirements
  • Work to meet deadlines and customer targets
  • Maintain machinery and systems for optimal production
  • Produce high-quality products according to departmental specifications
  • Identify and report development opportunities
  • Analyse root causes and implement problem-solving initiatives
