Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with a highly impressive PE-Backed Insurance Firm to secure an Interim Treasury Analyst based in Central London (2-3 days in). The role is a 3-6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between 425 - 500 per day (Umbrella rate).

You will need to be able to start within 2-3 weeks.

This business has been rapidly scaling through an aggressive acquisition agenda to complement their organic growth.

This is an ideal role for an analyst to step into Treasury for the first time, or for someone to expand upon their existing knowledge and skill base within the function.

The Role

High level overview:

  • Facilitate and fund daily working capital movements, with a focus on Spain, Italy, Poland, Brazil, and Canada.
  • Conduct FX currency purchases as required by the daily cash position process.
  • Oversee payment file transmissions to banking partners, managing exceptions and resolving issues.
  • Act as the primary contact for daily Treasury banking requests, providing resolutions or escalating as necessary.
  • Support daily cash position management.
  • Contribute to projects related to the Treasury Department's strategic objectives.
  • Identify and drive process improvements for assigned activities.
  • Handle special projects and assignments as directed by Treasury leadership.

Your Profile

You will have:

  • Extensive finance experience in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with macros and pivot tables.
  • High level of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Effective and professional communication skills, with the ability to influence desired outcomes.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks and projects amidst changing objectives.

Compensation & Benefits
