Job Description

Treasury and Accounts payable Analyst

Location:

London - Support Office

Line Manager: Finance Manager

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Supplier Management

  • Set up of new suppliers into accounting system
  • Verification of supplier banking details
  • Set up of banking details in accounting system and banking portal.

Payments

  • Prepare payment runs for upload to the banking system
  • Setting up payments to suppliers in the bank and the accounting system.
  • Providing payment confirmation and dealing with payment queries.
  • Process field requests in accounting system and processing payments
  • Process and pay supplier advances in accounting system and bank.

Daily Cash Management

  • Monitors daily cash flows impacting cash-forecasting models for UK and Continental Europe subsidiaries.
  • Prepares daily consolidated cash position
  • Monitors cash levels in different currency accounts, initiating transfers between accounts as appropriate

Corporate Treasury Management

  • Processing of accounting entries for inter account transfers, and non-Accounts Payable payments (e.g. interest, loan repayments, payroll payments).
  • Process receipts in Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensures and applies adequate controls to ensure Prospero Group resources are safeguarded properly.
  • Analyse and optimize bank service utilization

Accounts Payable

Provide clerical support for accounts payable duties include

  • Processing business expenses and credit card transactions
  • Processing supplier invoices within concur
  • Verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records

Other

  • Ensures timely communications and processing,
  • Coordinates to resolve payment/banking issues,
  • Responds timely to all inquiries and requirements
  • Audit Support

Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of Sage and Concur desirable
  • MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance, as well as prioritize work and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
