Job Title: Patient Service Lead

Location : Central Exeter

Pay rate: 13.50- 15 per hour

Hours: 30hrs - 37hrs per week

Duration: Fixed term, with potential to lead to a permanent opportunity

Role: We are working with a central based Doctors Surgery, who are looking for a someone to join their friendly and busy team. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Patient Advisers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all patient queries are handled efficiently and effectively, including tasks such as signposting patients to appropriate care, booking appointments, producing prescriptions, and managing administrative processes.

Duties:

  • Go-to person for any patient escalations, reassurance, or difficulties
  • Reception cover, being a point of contact to patients signposting them to appropriate care
  • Rota and holiday planning
  • Ensure smooth day to day running with resources available
  • Manage a team with confidence and care
  • Introducing and developing new systems
  • Follow and adhere to Company procedures and be a reliable and hardworking asset to the practice

Skills Required

  • Ability to manage a team with care and confidence
  • Previous experience within a medical practice not essential
  • Good I.T Skills
  • Administrative experience
  • Confidence and resilience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems
  • Hardworking, reliable and raring to go
