The Role:
As an Assistant Manager, a key part of your role will be hands-on in the kitchen—cooking and preparing food will make up a large portion of your day. You will also manage the kitchen team, ensuring food is prepared to high standards while maintaining smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with the owner to drive the café’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the kitchen team in cooking and food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality. Oversee kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards. Manage and motivate a small, dynamic team in both the kitchen and front of house. Assist with creating menus and specials, bringing new ideas to the table. Provide excellent customer service and address any issues promptly. Contribute to the café's growth with creative input and initiative.
