The Field Service Engineer (FSE) provides world class support to Cepheidâs UK customers including installing, maintaining and repairing the Cepheid platform of molecular diagnostic analysers. This role will be primarily based in the south of the UK covering into London with occasional travel outside this region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

· Make an impact by providing on-site support to our varied customers in the healthcare sector by performing installations, maintenance and repairs on Cepheidâs platforms and associated software packages.

· Participate in comprehensive training program.

· Provide world class customer support maintaining Cepheidâs industry leading customer satisfaction rating.

The essential requirements of the job include:

· Hold a technical qualification (for example BTEC or City & Guilds) related to engineering or similar.

· A willingness to travel (approximately 80%) often at short notice, to support customers in different UK locations, primarily in the south of the UK and into central London. Additional, ad hoc travel to other locations might be required occasionally.

· Demonstrate excellent communication skills internally and externally.

· Curiosity to learn and a team player attitude while also ability to work independently.

· Exceptional customer relationship skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· A Field Service Engineer (or similar) role within a medical diagnostic environment.
