Credit Controller

SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Full Time Credit Controller on a Temporary ongoing assignment, required to manage a high volume of live accounts in chasing debt, allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts. The business offer hybrid working after initial training period.
The main purpose of the Credit Controller is:
- Timely and accurate processing of cash receipts and matching of AR invoices.
- Supporting a well controlled bank reconciliation with no outstanding balances
- Processing customer statements.
- Maintenance of customer accounts (accounts on hold) including account reconciliations and new account setup.
- Complete credit insurance applications and internal approval process as required.
- Various weekly and monthly reporting
- Cash collection through active customer management
- Setting of credit terms in line with schedule of authority using information available
- Liaising with the Customer Services team & Sales team to resolve queries promptly
- Maintain a culture of first class service to employees and related managers alike
- Undertake continuous reviews of processes and controls ensuring best practice is applied
- Supporting Internal and External Audits
- Ad hoc duties and responsibilities as requested by the Management Team
The ideal candidate will have a solid, stable history within a high volume credit control environment. My Client is looking for somebody who enjoys working to targets, but also has the technical knowledge to be able to reconcile, allocate and resolve complex queries. You will need to be professional, reliable and hard working with strong Excel skills.
My Client are a strong, well established business with a large finance team who work under a knowledgeable and professional management team. There is parking on site and the business is accessible via public transport. Due to the role being a temporary contract please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period.
