An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Officer to join the Finance team at the Doncaster Deaf Trust.
The Doncaster Deaf Trust, Contracts Officer, will be experienced, detail oriented and able to work across all Trust administrative and operational functions. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, you will ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. As the Contracts Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the strategic goals of Doncaster Deaf Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish/maintain a Trust-wide contracts register which captures relevant details including the supplier contact details, contract start and end dates, prices, details on price increases and date to commence contract renewal/procurement processes. Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts ensuring they meet the required standards and objectives. Ensure appropriate procurement procedures are in place and are consistent with the financial handbook. Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications for contracts, ensuring all necessary inputs are considered and integrated into the contract terms. Implement and manage an effective contract management system to track contract performance and compliance. Identify any potential risks involved in specific contract terms and conditions and provide a risk assessment update. Facilitate contract approval and execution processes, ensuring that all necessary signatures and approvals are obtained in a timely manner.Please see the job description for a full list of responsibilities.
Can you demonstrate:
Minimum GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in English and Maths (or equivalent experience) Experience of contracts management and business-support working. Experience of having a level of autonomy and being able to work as part of a team. High level of knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly master other online platforms and software packages. Excellent organisational, planning and prioritisation skills, including the ability to plan and prioritise own workload. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure, within a constantly changing environment, and to short deadlines without compromising quality and standards. The ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information and situations with diplomacy, discretion and tact. The ability and flexibility to work with wider teams and offer support as necessary.Staff Benefits
