We are currently supporting a primary school based within Bradley Stoke that requires a Teaching Assistant to join from September 24.
The school are looking for a person/s to provide effective support to their pupils across the full primary curriculum on a long-term basis and for the right candidate this will likely be until July 25.
There are currently multiple opportunities available on both a full and part-time basis and if required may include elements of 1-1 support depending on needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to teachers, including assisting with lesson preparation and delivery.
Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
Help maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing materials and managing classroom resources.
Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to meet their requirements.
Supervise students during break times, outings, and other activities as needed.
Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their development and well-being.
Collaborate with teaching staff and participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential within the UK.
A genuine interest in working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
Basic administrative and organizational skills.
Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
