About Us: We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Coordinator with SAP expertise to join our team in Poole.
Job Description: As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers, leveraging your SAP skills to enhance our logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Utilise SAP software to monitor and control supply chain activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any logistics issues.
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SAP software is essential.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Administrative experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
