Job Title: Logistics and Shipping Coordinator

Finning International is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Receive and process daily orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  2. Conduct regular warehouse and workshop safety checks to ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
  3. Process returns and facilitate transfer to the relevant distribution centers.
  4. Plan and coordinate logistics effectively, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  5. Manage the warranty shelf, rotating stock every three months.
  6. Arrange and pack tooling for dispatch to engineers and overseas shipping.
Requirements:
  1. Independence, self-motivation, and initiative.
  2. Effective problem-solving skills.
  3. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the business.
  4. Time management and organizational skills.
  5. Proficiency in IT systems, including DBS, WMS, SAP, MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  6. Flexibility and adaptability to different types of work, projects, teams, and environments.
  7. A creative and innovative approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Understanding of supply chain and service practices and processes.
  2. Knowledge of dealer systems (DBS, WMS), health and safety policies, and 5S methodology.
  3. MHE license.
  4. Warehouse experience.
  5. Warehousing or logistics qualification (NVQ) desirable.
  6. Customer service experience.
  7. IOSH certification.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position.
