Join Our Team as a People Partner on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract working remotely - (travel will be required to our Birmingham office in Livery Place when needed)
Responsibilities:
Employee Relations & Continuous Improvement
- Business unit and First Line manager advisory support and employee liaison
- Coaching and development of managers in relation to all people related matters
- Provide advice to Managers within a wide range of diverse and complex HR issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management to ensure processes and policies are applied consistency and in line with our policies
- Keep up to date on employment law issues and legislation changes and working with the ER Lead to identify any impact on organisational policies and procedures
- Support in activities and projects related to the People plan, covering areas such as Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Engagement, Health and Wellbeing and Reward and Recognition
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for Organisational change activity, which includes any required stakeholder and employee consultations, along with preparing required documentation and working with the HR Shared Services team to process changes
Workforce Planning and Retention
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team as required to support in our workforce planning strategy, ensuing that we are able to attract talent in a timely manner
- Assist with development of job descriptions for newly created positions and updating existing positions
- Ensure accurate employee records are maintained in order to meet both statutory and company requirements and provide data as and when requested
Management Reporting
- Work with HR Systems and Data Insight Specialist for the provision of and maintenance of any key statistical and management information on key HR metrics such as staff turnover, sickness and absence, probations and report on any key concerns or patterns emerging
- Analyse data obtained from employee welcome and exit surveys, providing insight and recommendations on how we can improve the employee experience
Skills:
- Working knowledge of employment law and its practical application in workplace situations.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build robust relationships with various stakeholders.
- Project management experience in delivering HR-related initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in change management, including leading redundancy programs and transformation initiatives.
- Experience in developing people strategies and driving business performance and transformation.
