Business Development Manager

Hybrid working, based in Aberdeen

An exciting opportunity as a Business Development Manager has arisen with an ambitious travel management company.
  • Part of a small team, this role is to win profitable business in line with individual targets
  • To promote the brand to a targeted audience
  • The ability to present, attend client meetings and network across Scotland is required
  • To develop a strategic pipeline of business leads to assist with the future growth of the company
  • Self-source and convert business leads into trading accounts
  • Track leads and document interactions with prospects through the CRM database
  • Prepare and present business documents, including presentations both internally and externally
  • Establish and develop strong client relationships
  • Demonstrate good business acumen especially in the areas of Margin
  • Assist the Head of Business Development in achieving short, medium and long term goals for the business
  • Establish strong relationships within internal departments

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years sales experience
  • Travel experience is preferred but not essential
  • Proven ability to close the deal, get in front of decision makers
  • Use of Salesforce advantageous or CRM systems
  • Ambitious, motivated, passionate, professional and flexible are some of the key attributes for this role
