Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE:

  • Responsible for carrying out assessments at all Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd facilities in the UK including Worcester, Clay Cross, Wakefield and West Thurrock. Conducting Training on Worcester products.
  • To provide high quality training on the company's expanding heat pump portfolio, systems, other renewables, and combustion products to both Worcester Bosch customers and employees.

SCOPE OF ROLE:

  • Responsible for carrying out fair and rigorous assessment of candidates at our academies throughout the UK in Heat Pump, F-Gas, Domestic & Commercial ACS and OFTEC qualifications along with other industry qualifications.
  • Adhering to the Quality Management Scheme in accordance with the external certification body to ensure our assessment processes are exemplary within the industry.
  • Liaising with our administration and planning team to ensure that customer requirements are met efficiently.
  • Uphold our culture of continuous improvement via regular and accurate reporting on assessment outcomes in collaboration with the Internal Verifier and Awarding Body.
  • To provide training to customers on Heat Pumps, Gas and Oil to support the market share increase in renewable technologies.
  • Training to customers and internal employees on Gas, Oil and Renewable products including Heat Pumps at Worcester Bosch training centres.
  • Accurate transfer of Assessment Documentation and liaison with Certificating Body.
  • Liaison with Training Administration Team to deliver excellent assessment experience.
  • Liaison with external suppliers involved in the assessment process.
  • Continual development of assessment offering for TTGB business.

Qualifications

  • To hold an appropriate qualification in the examination and assessment of learners. (e.g. Level 3 Certification in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent).
  • RQF Heat Pump qualification and Low Temperature qualified is an advantage.
  • F-Gas Qualified.
  • Holds current domestic ACS, LPG, OFTEC, G3.
  • Commercial ACS is preferable but not essential.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the heating industry and 2 years in the training and assessment industry.
  • Positive mind-set and Customer Focussed.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES:

  • Flexibility and travel is essential to this role to cover assessments at Worcester, Wakefield, Clay Cross, West Thurrock and partners in the UK.
