About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Professional to join our team as a Functional Assessor at Reactive Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of patients' functional abilities to determine their eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and generate high-quality reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic.
  • Full registration with a UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with no restrictions and a valid PIN.
  • Strong observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper.
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and generate accurate reports.
  • Proficient with IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access.
  • Valid driving license or reliable transportation to reach the nearest assessment centre.

Working Hours
  • Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day).

  • Work hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid one-hour lunch break.
  • Sample schedules include: 8am – 4:30pm or 9am – 5:30pm.
  • We will provide at least 4 weeks' notice for any changes to your schedule.
