Job Description

Early Years Training Assessor / Trainer

This is a flexible hybrid role, consisting of home-based working and travelling to various settings for teaching and assessments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessments to early years professionals, ensuring they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training and assessments to early years professionals, including Level 5 standard and functional skills up to Level 2.
  • Develop and maintain E-Learning Portfolios, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of learners.
  • Travel across the region, visiting various settings to deliver training and assessments.
  • Work closely with the Aspire Training Team to develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of early years professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of the Aspire Training Team's training and assessment materials.

Requirements:

  • A level 3 qualification in Early Years / Education, or equivalent.
  • Significant occupational competency in the Early Years / Education sector.
  • Experience in training and assessing Early Years to Level 5 standard and functional skills up to Level 2.
  • Ability to travel across the region, using a personal vehicle and holding a valid Driver's Licence.
