Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist advice and clinical care for women and their families experiencing early pregnancy complications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership in the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit, ensuring best practice in accordance with national guidelines.
  • Lead the unit, providing support and information to patients experiencing early pregnancy complications or miscarriage.
  • Develop and implement education, training, research, and audit programs related to early pregnancy.
  • Collaborate with other departments, especially the maternity unit and scanning department, to ensure seamless care.
  • Act as a role model, providing excellent communication and leadership to the multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements:
  • First-level adult nurse qualification registered with the NMC.
  • Experience at Band 5 or 6 within gynaecology nursing for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Assertive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and organize effectively.
