Finance Assistant Sales Ledger

Location: Halesowen
Hours: 37 hours per week
Type: Temp (Potential Temp to Perm)
Salary: GBP11-GBP13.50 per hour ( with potential Perm salary of GBP22,663.20 - GBP23,727.14)

Role Overview:
As a Finance Assistant, you will focus on sales ledger duties, ensuring the college's incoming payments are accurately tracked. Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring the sales ledger inbox
  • Processing sales invoices and credit notes
  • Tracking outstanding payments and managing the collection process
  • Preparing financial reports for the management team
  • Processing debts with debt collection agencies
  • Assisting with month/year-end financial tasks
This role is ideal for individuals at the early stages of their finance career or those looking to gain entry into the finance field.

Essential Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Organised and proactive approach to work
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team
  • Interest in finance with a desire to grow within the field
