Job purpose:

To safeguard the assets of the business by establishing and monitoring the financial controls via the financial systems and processes in the company.

Safeguard the integrity of the stock system, and smooth process of all direct sales and consignment orders.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing senior management with key M/I to include regular sales reports, management accounts, and per THG reporting requirements.

Key

responsibilities:

Main administrator for the Finance System Navision (BC365), along with all EDI feeds for sales and stock purposes. Overseeing all major customer data uploads into finance system to ensure that overall sales imported agrees to customer monthly reporting, noting, and investigating any variances with relevant team Assist for the preparation and completion of royalty statements to be sent in accordance to the contract terms -quarterly/ half year, and annually. Treasury management and cashflow including review and maintenance of key payments to licensors in line with key objectives as per THG requirements. Assist in preparation and distribution of monthly management pack for commentary by the DoF All key balance sheet control accounts in line with month end process, including all InterCo balances. Stock valuation reports and standard costing on monthly basis including all new titles at standard cost. Monthly review of stock aging, monitoring provision and alerting any anomalies. Monthly review of debtors Overhead actual vs budget monthly comparison - reporting to senior management. Supporting the DoF on any ad hoc reporting or investigation requirements
Performance measurement & targets:
Month end process and provision of M/I pack by agreed deadline. Regular delivery of key reporting output to agreed deadlines to THG. Ensuring cash balances and debtor days are in line with forecast expectations. Payments to licensors re royalty and MG payments are in line with contractual obligations. Ensure that production process is not held up by late invoicing and/or payment
Qualifications & experience required:
Minimum part qualified or QBE Proven experience in relevant fields
Personal attributes:
Extremely well organised and a proven efficient manner of working practice Passionate about film & television desirable not essential Attention to detail and strong integrity to follow best practice and due process
