Join us as a Trade Planning Assistant and you'll be a big part of this.

Key responsibilities

You are responsible for providing support to the Trading Space Planning Lead to assist with a range of tasks that support the timely creation and execution of the Trading Space Plan for B&Q. You must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Here's a summary of the key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  1. Critical Path Management: Create, maintain, and communicate critical paths.
  2. Administrative Support: Assist with the change request process.
  3. Information Collation: Gather data from various teams and create engagement materials.
  4. Communication Materials: Develop materials for the Trading Space Planning Lead.
  5. Query Response: Address routine queries and refer complex ones to the appropriate team.
  6. Support Trade Space Planning Lead: Assist with tasks like writing emails, reports, and progress notes.
  7. Primary Contact: Occasionally act as the main point of contact for the Trading Space Planning Lead.

Required skills & experience

Required skills and experience:

  1. Communication: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  2. Planning & Prioritization: Ability to effectively plan and manage workload.
  3. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Professionalism: Presentable and polite demeanor for customer-facing roles.
  5. Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with proven experience with other Microsoft packages.
