**Key responsibilities**

**Role purpose**

To support the digital trading function and be the point of contact for all trading activity. Develop strong collaborative working relationships across all functions.

**Key responsibilities**
- Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of the digital trade plan
- Act as the Digital point of contact for all trading activity; across Marketplace and our B&Q plans, collating all relevant information required for the successful setup and delivery of all trading events
- Manage the critical path across multiple stakeholders, ensuring activity is briefed to SLAs and activity delivered on time to expectation
- Responsible for Digital engagement and communication of trading events, through the creation of Digital briefs and Campaign pack, ensuring each stakeholder has the information they need to plan and execute a joined-up end 2 end successful digital event
- Working collaboratively with central trading team, digital trading team and commercial teams to ensure Digital events are well planned and optimised
- Hold teams to account to deliver their part of the digital plan on time and in full, escalating quickly where agreed actions are not met
- Manage an agile plan that contains the latest information from Commercial, Digital, Marketplace and Marketing, highlighting any risks and dependencies
- Create and communicate the purpose of each digital trading event and associated KPIs, understanding the customer moments within this
- Responsible for the forecasting of sales and margin within the digital trade plan of all digital events, utilising the levers within the promo tool to optimise against our digital KPIs, making recommendations and driving continuous improvements
- Act as the Digital Subject Matter Expert on promo software tool, supporting colleagues in Digital in understanding the tool and carrying out training
- Responsible for Post Implementation Review of all digital events utilising analytics, market and customer insight and highlighting learnings and areas of opportunity

- Experience of working and making decisions in a fast-paced trading environment
- Ability to use insights and data to make Commercial decisions
- Well organised with strong planning skills
- Understanding of the Digital customer and their needs
- Understanding of key Commercial KPIs and how to influence them
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally
- Knowledge of current innovation and changes in ecommerce
