My Walsall based Construction client are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.

Duties will include:

  • Inputting purchase invoices
  • Dealing with purchase & nominal ledger
  • Monthly reconciliation of statements
  • Taking payment and processing
  • Creating payment runs to suppliers
  • Matching invoice and delivery notes
  • Approving and rejecting invoices/payments
  • Dealing with queries and resolving
  • Any other general adhoc administration

Key skills:

  • Essential that you have previous purchase ledger / accounting procedures experience
  • Must have good attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Be fully conversant in MS Word / Excel / Outlook
  • Proficient in using accounting software Sage
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
