Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and input purchase invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage and maintain the purchase and nominal ledger systems
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Process payments and create payment runs to suppliers
  • Match invoices and delivery notes to ensure accurate recording
  • Approve and reject invoices and payments as necessary
  • Respond to queries and resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounting procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong understanding of accounting software, including Sage
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
