About the role
Please note this role is open for US hours only (2:00-3:00 pm GMT start)
The scope and nature of the projects on which you’ll work will vary however, examples of duties/responsibilities include:
Managing multiple queues of account screening and real-time transaction screening alerts; exercise judgment and sanctions knowledge by reviewing internal data against reference data and recommending a dispositionConducting open-source research and client outreach for alerts requiring additional informationAdvising management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trendsMaintaining accurate tracking of assignments to ensure appropriate deadlines are metIdentifying opportunities to streamline or improve current processesPerforming supplementary sanctions due diligence and research for complex escalationsThe ideal candidate will have sanctions or anti-money laundering operations team experience at a financial services firm, exchange, regulatory organization
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
A 2.1 degree in a Finance, Legal or STEM subjectExperience of working on investment banking projects, either directly for an investment bank, or working for a 3rd party providing consulting/outsourced services to an investment bankThe ideal candidate will have sanctions experience backgroud at a financial services firm, exchange, regulatory organizationOFAC experience is desirable Confident communicating with management/stakeholders, producing reports and helping manage project lifecycles with relevant industry toolingStrong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
