Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst - AML Specialist to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Terrorist Financing risks to the business, as well as evaluating reputational risk searches and consulting with stakeholders on related topics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide AML advice to the business on higher risk clients and escalate concerns to senior management as necessary.
- Evaluate reputational risk searches and consult with stakeholders on related topics.
- Assess and analyze information relating to sanctions, bribery, or corruption and document concerns and comfort levels.
- Help evaluate reputational risk searches conducted by the Business Support Unit using Citi Screening, Factiva, and other platforms.
- Consult with stakeholders such as AML Compliance Risk Management, Anti Bribery and Corruption, Sanctions team, Legal, etc. for their expertise in related topics and refer complex investigations to AML Investigation teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly metrics for Compliance Reviews, Negative News, Manual Investigations, or any ad-hoc reports related to KYC to senior management on a timely basis.
- Undertake an evaluation of metrics to identify risks that may be apparent and potentially need highlighted.
- Update the KYC REM procedures and ensure their alignment and compliance to Citi Policies and Standards, including Global Operating Procedure, as required.
- Perform Manager Control Assessment (MCA) to seek out observation for any control weakness or non-adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
- Previous experience working in an AML/KYC/Compliance role.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of AML regulations.
