Your new role
⢠Preparation and reporting of weekly/monthly management accounts with appropriate variance analysis and commentary to explain performance.
⢠Control income/expenditure within the business, ensuring that costs are in line with budget.
⢠Ensure balance sheets and cash flows are accurate and reconciled.
⢠Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
⢠Manage capital expenditure spend effectively and to budget.
⢠Communicate and interpret financial data to non-financial managers.
⢠Maintain, develop, and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
⢠Develop and lead a transactional finance team.
⢠Assist in recruiting and training other/new team members when requested.

What you'll need to succeed
⢠Finalist / Qualified in CIMA/ACCA or ACA
⢠Strong background in accounting and financial management, with good understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping.
⢠Excellent IT skills including MS Office software, and ERP financial packages.
⢠Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable.
⢠Advanced knowledge of Excel, with ability to use complex formulas and deal with high volumes of processes and data, in particular effective data manipulation (including pivot tables and lookups, etc.)
⢠Strong written, verbal communication and people skills - ability to manage and influence stakeholders and present financial information to non-financial colleagues.
