In the Finance Officer role, you will be:

  • Supporting financial management with budgets, technical issues, and management reporting.
  • Providing a range of financial services including procurement and payments, handling service expenditure and departmental income processes, monitoring documents, manage petty cash accounts and year-end financial close-down processes
  • Support budget holders with financial monitoring and creating reports and analysis.
  • Processing and extracting data, preparing documents and financial monitoring reports
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in service provision.

To be successful in the Finance Officer role, you must have:

  • Experience working within a financial / accounting based role
  • Proficiency with computerised accounting systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisation, planning, analytical & problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines independently
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to supervise and motivate a team, adapt to change, and handle pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.

This is a 6 month, temporary position working full time, Monday to Friday. You'll be starting on an hourly rate of £13.69 plus benefits.
The role is located within the organisations head office near Colwyn Bay, Conwy.
