Why this job matters
The Control Build & Delivery team sit in a unique position within the Assurance area, we provide data, insights and controls that underpin the ability to secure the end-to-end customer journey, preventing any overbilling and under billing.
We are also involved in many Digital transformation programmes, closing or moving our supporting data systems, which house the data we use for the Assurance area. The team have a exceptional mix of business and technical skills and knowledge which means that they can provide support to both Digital teams and Business areas for a number of products and systems. The team are seen as specialists across a number of disciplines and are called on to support all sorts of activities within the area, this makes it an interesting and exciting place to work

What you'll be doing
Business Specialist Support
• Provide consultancy support to Assurance teams for product discovery and project engagement
• Play a key role in influencing delivery teams & stakeholders to achieve the collaborative desired outcome
• Drive adoption of tools for case management, business insights, and risk coverage
• Identify key process & technical opportunities for improvement and transformation
Collaboration with Digital partners
• Provide quarterly demand for data & streamline delivery processes by working with Digital team
• Retain oversight of the data feed requirements for the current and future development for all controls and insight requirements
• Implement robust governance & guardrails for cloud-based data solutions recommended by Digital architecture team
• Maintain an operational relationship with Digital application support & delivery teams for oversight on platform and tools infrastructure
Pan Assurance Project Consultancy
• Engage with key transformation programmes providing assurance subject matter expertise, and representation in delivery & design workshops and discussions
• Identify system migration impacts & drive necessary outcomes for Assurance
• Participate & contribute to Assurance programmes for process improvements & audit requirements
The skills & experience you'll need
Significant Telco Experience in Assurance roles,Business improvement & consultancy roles, Business Specialist roles or Data Specialist roles
Business Assurance Knowledge - you will need a very strong grounding in business / revenue assurance concepts and methodology, and risk management domain.
Product & Business Knowledge - have subject matter expertise and knowledge of Telco processes, systems and product offerings
Solution Design - methodology and approach to deliver Assurance/Analytics & Insight requirements.
Project Governance - a good understanding of project lifecycle & management principles
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills as this team underpins common goals for many of the Assurance teams, and working collaboratively is key to achieving them
An agile mindset, in an ever changing environment it is essential to have a 'can do' attitude with the ability to adjust and adapt to new ways of working and proactively problem solve whilst managing multiple pieces of work with tight timescales.

• Hitachi Pentaho and Cloud SQL for data management
• Mobelium RAID for data reconciliation and case management
• Qlik Sense or OBI/Apex for reporting and business insights
