As the new In House Counsel, you will be joining Ethical Power; one of UK’s most innovative and ambitious sustainable energy companies and is at an exciting point in its evolution.

The Role: 

Due to sustained growth Ethical Power’s legal team is now looking to recruit an In House Construction Lawyer to assist with projects in the UK and internationally.

Working within a highly collaborative and supportive in-house legal team your focus will be: 

  • To support the business with negotiating and drafting EPC, ICP, BOP, supplier and O&M contracts.
  • To broaden out your legal expertise supporting the group across the full project lifecycle with a wide range of legal matters over time.

About You: 

To succeed in this In House Counsel role, you will:

  • Have  c2-5 years construction law experience, with confident and balanced negotiation skills
  • Be well organised and above all a passion to fully integrate with the business.
  • Be looking to make a change towards a fully engaged and immersive career in a fast growing, renewable energy business.
  • In House Counsel and Lawyers from a private practice or in-house background will be considered.
