**Role Overview**: As a Short Breaks Practitioner, your mission is to ensure children and young people have a fun and fulfilling experience at Russell House. From engaging activities like cinema trips and beach outings to fostering independent living skills, your role is to create a genuine holiday atmosphere. Russell House offers amenities like an allotment, trampoline, sensory room, cinema, and outdoor space to enrich the experience.

- Provide residential respite care for children and young people with learning and/or physical disabilities.
- Encourage participation in various activities, including personal hobbies or passions, to enrich the experience for the children and young people.

It is essential to have/working towards a level 3 NVQ qualification in working with children and young people, or equivalent.

A driver’s license is an advantage, however there is a bus station only a 10 minute walk away.
