Pertemps are currently recruiting for Youth Development Workers for our client - a supported accommodation facility for young people aged 16-25. We are looking for people who are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where young individuals can help them thrive and develop essential life skills.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on-site to support young residents.
Deliver 1-2-1 support sessions focused on life skills development.
Review and update individual action plans.
Assist young people in accessing medical appointments.
Contribute to multi-agency meetings and group activities.
Provide key worker support to help residents transition to independent living.
Embrace diversity and bring your unique personality to the role.

Requirements:
Passion for working with vulnerable youth.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
Enhanced DBS check required.

Working Hours:
37 hours per week.
Rolling 4-week rota, including 3 night shifts per week, 5 day shifts, and weekend shifts (Friday to Sunday) over the course of a month.
£14.46 per hour 
Based in Redruth, Cornwall.
