Our client, a future focused government organisation is on the hunt for a forward thinking Senior Delivery Manager. The role is within a long term Programme of work that have to retire/migrate a number of our legacy systems (multiple legacy systems). As a Senior Delivery Manager you will take ownership of the delivery of these legacy systems to ensure they are delivered on time and to a high standard. You will be accountable for the delivery of a product or service.

In this role you will:

  • Act as Scrum Master where required according to the Scrum Guide
  • Identify obstacles and help the team to overcome them
  • Focus the team on what is most important to the delivery of products and services - encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team
  • Coach and mentor both team members and others to apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques
  • Use a variety of agile and lean tools and techniques in order to help the team keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the product vision;
  • Challenge and improve organisational processes
